The Strange Weather Gospel Choir is a community choir in Canberra, more than 60 voices strong. The choir’s unique sound and exuberance have seen it grow to become very popular in the Capital region.
‘Strange Weather’ performs a wide variety of gospel music – from traditional African American spirituals through to contemporary – and secular music as well.
Experienced at performing at many venues in Canberra, on the far South Coast and in country New South Wales, the choir will be visiting Cooma this coming Saturday 25 August.
During the day they will participate in the Cooma Choir Festival, and in the evening they are performing at 7:30pm in the acoustically excellent Anglican Parish Hall.
Tickets for the performance are available at The Fabric Salon, and at the door. Get your tickets early as seating will be limited.
