A relaxing way to spend a lovely Autumn afternoon will be to
enjoy seeing and hearing pianist Evgeny Ukhanov this Sunday 15 March.
Evgeny will be performing works by Beethoven, Chopin,
Gershwin and more at the recital, at the Anglican Parish Hall on Commissioner
Street, starting at 3 o’clock.
This gifted musician, who has featured in a television
series about prodigies, has competed in piano competitions in the Ukraine (his
country of birth), in Italy and in Australia, his adopted country since 1998.
This year he will travel to Norway to compete in the fourth annual Top of the
World International Piano Competition.
Tickets for Sunday’s concert are available at The Fabric
Salon and at the door from 2:30pm.
